Great times for a great cause
On October 23, 2011 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morris, Bergen, Passaic & Sussex held its’ 6th Annual “Walk for Kids’ Sake” at the Wyndham Worldwide Headquarters in Parsippany NJ. Our Walk for Kids’ Sake is a fun and exciting event that helps support our one-on-one mentoring programs for youth in our community. This year, our Walk Corporate Chairperson was Louis Vetere-President and CEO of Garden Savings Federal Credit Union in Parsippany, NJ. Louis, along with over 200 walkers participated in a 3 mile walk around the Mack-Cali business campus. Our walkers enjoyed some delicious food, great entertainment and even participated in some early Halloween trick-or-treating along the walk route! The generous support of our Walkers, Sponsors, In-Kind Donors and Volunteers made our 2011 Walk for Kids’ Sake a great success. Without such incredible support, we would be unable to continue to make matches in our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
